Using the Cards to Supercharge Story Ideas, Deepen Characters, & Illuminate Plotlines

Hi everyone,
I just wanted to give an update date on how fulfillment is going for the Tarot for Fiction Writers Kickstarter is going.
You can access all of these through BackerKit.
In some bad news, I took a really bad fall this weekend and ended up fracturing my humerus head (shoulder area) and injuring both of my wrists. (All after finally recovering from COVID the week before. Gah!).
My dog ran away while I was walking her and pulled me down with her. I'm in a sling and supposed to keep my left arm immobilized for a few months. I'm still in a lot of pain, fuzzy headed from medication, and haven't been able to work at the computer much without making the injuries worse.
Unfortunately, that will cause some delays on the remaining items. Over the weekend, I placed orders for about 40 of you for paperbacks, but still have around 70 more. This requires a lot of copying pasting, which is hard on my injured wrists, so I will have to work at a slower pace for shorter stretches. I will do my best to get those in this week, but that may spill over into the next week.
I'm hoping to recruit my boys to help with the stickers and decks to get those out this week or next too.
The remaining Quick Guides are written, but need formatting that requires a lot of design layout work that I can't do until my wrists are more stable. I will update when I know more on the timeline for those.
Sorry for the delays, and I appreciate your understanding.
Take care,
Jessica
Hi everyone,
Exciting news, fulfillment starts this week! eBooks of Tarot for Fiction Writers should be delivered by the end of the week.
If you'd like to make any changes to your orders on Backerkit, like grabbing extra copies of the books for gifts or signing up for a class, etc. please make sure you log in and do that by Thursday, May 23.
Cards will be charged Friday morning (PST,) May 24, so please make sure you've made any additions or changes by then.
Still 4 more spots left for the June class!
If you're interested in the Tarot for Fiction Writers 101 live interactive, class, we still have a few more spots. More info about the class below. To enroll, click the image below to add it to your cart on Backerkit by Thursday.
Just message me here, on Backerkit, or at [email protected] with the details, and I'll make a note so your books end up at the right place.
As of today, I'm still missing surveys from 24 of you. Please make sure you get those filled out ASAP. They only take a few minutes and make sure that you'll get all of your digital as well as physical rewards delivered to the right place.
As I mentioned above, I'll be locking orders and charging cards (for those of you who chose additional items in Backerkit or pledged for physical items that require shipping) at the end of this week.

Any other questions for me? Please message me here or at [email protected].
Take care,
Jessica
Hey everyone,
I hope you're all doing well. I'm doing my final review of the formatted files for Tarot for Fiction Writers today, and should be ready to order proof copies by tomorrow! We're so close to fulfillment time!
Speaking of fulfillment...I need your responses. Thank you to everyone who has already filled out your surveys, but if you haven't, please make sure you do , so I have all of your current shipping or digital delivery details needed to get your rewards to you.
Surveys went out a few weeks ago. I'm still missing surveys from 33 of you. Please make sure you get those filled out ASAP, because I'll be locking orders, charging cards (if you had any physical rewards with shipping fees or chose additional add-ons via BackerKit), and getting prepped for fulfillment soon.
If for any reason you missed your survey via email, you can access it here: https://tarot-for-fiction-writers.backerkit.com/
As, I mentioned, final proofing for the formatted Tarot for Fiction Writers files is almost complete, which means fulfillment will start soon!
Here are some timeline updates:
Ebooks should go out by the end of next week!
Tarot for Fiction Writer Paperbacks: As soon as I'm done proofing the formatted files and make any necessary changes, the files will be uploaded to my distributor, and I'll order a proof copy to make sure everything is as it should be. Once I receive and check the proof, I'll place orders. I'll be in touch with updates as I know more.
Notebooks and Spread Notes Journals: These are ready to go, and I'll order proofs at the same time as the paperbacks.
Tarot Spreads for Fiction Writer Paperbacks: I still have several days of formatting work on this book. After I'm done, proofs will be ordered, and I'll place orders to be shipped to you once I approve the proof.
Other digital campaign items (Quick Guides, Tarot Spreads for Fiction Writers Printable PDF): These are on track for somewhere in the last week of May or first week of June.
Tarot for Fiction Writers 101 Class: If you registered for the class, I'll be in touch early next week with details and instructions.
Consultations: If you booked consultations, I'll send a scheduling link sometime in early June.
If you have any questions, please reach out here or through BackerKit.
Take care,
Jessica
Hi everyone,
I've got a few updates for you.
Good news! Shipping rate issues have been resolved, so surveys should start rolling out to backers tomorrow.
As a reminder, surveys will come via email from BackerKit. They go out to a limited number of backers first in what they call a smoke test to catch any potential problems before rolling out to everyone.
Please make sure to answer your surveys as soon as possible to make sure you get your rewards.
As far as production goes, I just got the final draft of Tarot for Fiction Writers back from my proofreader, so I'll be reconciling the changes and moving on to formatting next week.
I've also been working on the interior layouts for the Tarot Spreads for Fiction Writers book. Here's a preview of a few I finished this week:
If you have any questions, please message me here.
Take care,
Jessica
